Sherbet learned to swim as a puppy by watching Sundance jump in the lake and she hesitated for about 1 second and jumped right in behind him. Nea didn’t swim her first summer but the next year she finally figured it out. Our hike to the lake is their favorite by far.

Rescued at about 1 yr old, having been found on the streets of Duchesne, very skinny and fearful, we soon became best friends.
As a yellow lab/red healer mix he was very smart, very active and loved to herd the kids. We started hiking to help tame his active nature. We both learned to love hiking off-leash, mostly in Millcreek Canyon.

Sherbet’s Birthday: (5:40) This video celebrates Sherbet’s first year – the cutest dog ever!

Sherbet came to us as an 8 week old puppy and she and Sundance instantly became best friends. As my second Cocker Spaniel, I was familiar with the Cocker Cult – i.e. they believe every man, woman and child was placed on earth just to pet them.

Snuffi was rehomed from a family in Idaho at the age of 5. She was a great hiker, except that as a Cocker Spaniel, she loved to track. Once she had the scent, she was gone after it. Sundance was taught to find her by hearing her bell we made her wear while hiking and using his herding skills to bring her back.
